Dr Nahyan Helal is holding a PhD in Occupational Health from Post Graduate Medical School, Surrey University (UK), 2011. He is also holding an MSc in Occupational Health from University of Surrey (UK), 2006. He was graduated in General Medicine and General Surgery (MBBS) from Ovidius University (Romania), 2000. During his post-graduate training program, he was awarded the best MSc study from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) in a student research competition. Dr. Nahyan was the founding member of the first GCC Occupational Health Committee in April 2007. Dr. Nahyan is an affiliate member and External Advisory Group member of the Institute of Remote Healthcare (IRHC) in Scotland, United Kingdom since March 2011. Dr. Nahyan major aspiration in the life is to contribute and extend his knowledgebase and expertise for the development of a sustainable Occupational Medicine/Health and Healthcare System in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. Moreover, his aspiration extends to help promoting a culture of Occupational Health, Remote Healthcare, Health Education and Health Promotion, and Public Health among workers and employees in all industries, as a day to day practice in the UAE community.
